Rain Hoods Are Back!
Back in 2020 I started designing rain hoods inspired by the vintage styles of the 1940s and 50s, pics below. They were very popular but also time consuming and quite costly to make and as the price of fabric went up & up so much over the years, I decided to discontinue the designs in mid 2023. However, since it's been a very wet start to this year I have started wearing my rain hoods again and after seeing fun rainwear becoming more popular on social media it felt like the right time to bring my designs back!
I decided to combine my popular newer designs like the Little Devil & Little Bat headpieces with my old pattern for the rain hoods to create something more in keeping with my current style and customer base and I've already been wearing the prototypes constantly! They make great cosy wind protectors so are great for nights out even when it's not raining and as they are designed to look cute they work as a fashion accessory as well as rainwear!
The 4 new rain hood styles, devil horns, bat ear, frog and vintage, will be available on Sunday March 29th at 10am. Hoods are priced at £30-35.
