Plaited Fringe Step By Step Tutorial

Vintage hair tutorialFollow this easy & quick vintage hair tutorial to create a vintage hair look that works with both my pre-tied turbans and headbands!

You will need: A couple of elastic bands, hair grips, a thin hairnet and a comb.

Step 1: Section off a ponytail at the front to be the fringe. If you already have a fringe just include that in the section.

Step 2: Plait the ponytail & pop a hair tie on the end to secure it.

Step 3: Twist the plait to form a circle and pin in place.

Step 4: It should look like a full circle when pinned in place.

Step 5: Once it feels secure you can then add a hairnet over the top (pinning the net at the back of the finge) to neaten it up and add some extra hold.

Step 6: Decide what to you with the rest of your hair, there are 2 options below.

A: Put the rest of your hair up in a bun or ponytail and add one of my vintage style headbands

B: Twist your hair up and pin it to the back of your head and use one of my 1940s style turbans to complete the look.
