Hair Bow Styling Tips 🎀

My new velvet and a metallic hair bows add a great touch of fun and glamour to any outfit. Easy to wear, sustainably made and affordable these bows are a great addition to your accessory wardrobe.

As you can see from the inspiration photos below bows are great for creating vintage looks with and I have a few styling ideas to

Front: This is a great dramatic way to wear a bow, front and centre! This works really well if you put your hair up in a bun as the bow can sit against it.

You could go for a centrally placed bow like the blue bow, or I quite like wearing mine a little bit off to one side, as shown in the pink bow picture.

Side: Another easy placement for a hair bow is to the side. This works really well with both your hair down in vintage curls or up in a classic updo.

Back: Wearing your bow at the back of an updo is a really lovely look and a little bit more

Turban: Why not combine several accessories and add your hair bow to the front of your Sarah’s Doo-Wop Dos

My bows have an alligator clip fastening on the back, giving them good hold & making them easy to pop into your hair. You can always add a couple of little hair grips (bobby pins) if you want a little extra hold too of course.
