Creepy Crafting: Slime Headscarf
Share
Hi, it’s been a while since I did a new creepy crafting project but I had an idea I just had to try! The inspiration, 90s horror book covers and slime!!!!
I dug into my fabric off cuts and found the perfect neon green fleece fabric, off cuts from my Alien bag charm. There was quite a bit left and once it was stitched together it was a long enough piece to use for this idea.

Project Steps:

1.I started by drawing out the slime so I could see how it would fit on the headscarf. Then cut it all out.
2. I then cut out the headscarf pieces and sewed the top of all the fabric together to keep the slime in place.
3. I hand stitched the slime onto one side of the headscarf, this was the longest part of the project.

4. I then sewed the rest of the headscarf together on my machine, leaving a gap so I could turn it right way out at the end.
5. I turned it out via the gap and gave it a quick iron and I sewed a line across the top to help the shape.
6. I then hand sewed the hole shut and voila, another finished creepy crafting projet!
Let me know if you want to see this sort of headscarf on the website and out at markets!
