Creepy Crafting: Jewellery Making
Share
I am trying to make use of more of the trinkets I buy and one thing I'm always buying is nostalgic Halloween stuff, silly things like plastic witch fingers, see my blog post on the witch finger necklace here, and more recently those plastic vampire fangs.
I had some of the fingers left over so I decided to do a test run with them as I wanted to make earrings.
I used a large embroidery needle, warmed it up with a lighter (be VERY careful doing this as it can get very hot quickly) and pierced the plastic to fit a fixing through. It took a few goes to get the hole big enough and putting the metal loop through was a bit fiddly so I had to use tweezers and my pliers but it worked!

Then I decided to try it using the fangs. These were trickier because of the shape.

Then as I had several left I made a matching necklace too! This was such a fun and easy project and I can't wait to style these all in a full outfit soon.
