Tying A True Vintage Scarf - 2 Look Tutorial

I’ve recently started selling  true vintage scarves, these are all one off pieces in different colours and patterns and are perfect for tying in 1940s style turbans.

If you aren’t sure how to tie a turban don’t worry just read on for some easy to follow step by step instructions or you can always buy one of my stretchy pre-tied designs.

Steps For Creating A Bow Turban:

Step 1: Fold your scarf into a triangle shape. The put the longest side against the back of your head. If you need immediate hold add a couple of hair grips at the back.

Step 2: Now tie the front two ends, there will be a bit left over in the middle, make sure as you tie the ends this is held in place.

Step 3: Then tie the ends into a big bow.

Step 4: Fan out the bow part so it looks full.

Step 5: Then tuck the left over end under the knot so it’s held in place but not showing.
