Ways To Style A Mini Vintage Witch Hat🦇🕸️🎃

This year there’s a new witch hat in town and it’s my cutest yet!! My mini witch hat has a flat base (approx 21cm across) and goes on like a fascinator with elastic for hold, so you don’t need to know your head measurement to wear one as one size fits all.  

This little hat is a more traditional style of witch hat than my 1930s/40s style witch hat and is available in a big range of fun patterns and colours. 

So how do you wear these great little hats?  I tend to wear one tilted to one side inspired by the way hats were often worn in my favourite era of headwear, the 1940s. 

To style my hair in these pictures I just curled my fringe and bob but these hats would look amazing with a full vintage brush out!

I tend to tilt my hat to one side and use the elastic under my hair to hold it in place, as the base of the hat is flat it makes them easy to position. You can add a couple of hair grips though if you need some extra hold. 

If you don’t like wearing the hat tilted you can wear it in the centre of your head in the more traditional way. These hats look great with hair down or you can pile your hair up into an updo too and just pop the hat on top of your do!
