My headbands, turbans and berets make the perfect finish to any outfit. My designs are comfy and stylish and available in a range of fabrics and colours so they look equally great with t-shirts & jeans or a dress.
Style One: My favour favourite casual vintage outfit is often dungarees and a comfortable T-shirt. This look is both practical and looks great. I made the dungarees for the Woodhall Spa 1940s weekend last year and this outfit quickly became one of my go to’s for vintage events as it has a 1940s landgirl feel. I added one of my stretchy vintage style headbands to finish off the look, because of course every landgirl needs a headscarf.
Styles Two: I LOVE a plaid jacket, especially a vintage Pendleton one and this particular jacket was a real bargain and is in my favourite autumn, earthy tones. I often team it with a turban or beret that pulls out one of the colours from the plaid like mustard but it’s also fun to use a clashing accessory like a leopard print beret or check headband, I find this works best if you stay in the same colour palette. Style Three: This is a fun summery vintage outfit using my favourite gingham skirt, that is actually secret culottes! I tend to keep it simple with this one and just add a white top and then a headband for a bright, pop of colour or a vintage style sun hat to complete
Style Four: I wear A LOT of red, white and blue over the summer as it’s perfect for vintage and 1940s events or as the base of a nautical look. I tend to go for a floaty pair of palazzo style trousers if it’s hot, worn with a striped top and a matching headband or turban and co-ordinating vintage
